Conductor Deal Listings
Frequently Asked Questions
What are Conductor Listings?
Listings on Conductor provide you with a snapshot of the deals on the platform and allow you to express interest in specific opportunities. The cards have high-level summaries, and you can see more details and indicate your interest when you click on a card.
What happens if I don’t express interest?
We’ll still invite you to bid on projects that are a clear fit, but you may miss out on other opportunities.
What if someone on my team expresses interest in a deal and I don’t?
Each person on your team can express interest in deals, and these can be different across the company. We did this to support IPPs with multiple teams targeting different geographies or different types of projects, e.g. C&I, community solar, small utility.
If I express interest, will I get to bid?
Maybe. We’ll take a look to make sure it’s a good fit, and follow up if we have questions.
Why wouldn’t I get invited to bid?
We will continue to focus bidding on the buyers most likely to bid competitively and follow through on their offers. We’re happy to provide feedback on your team’s performance.
Why would I express interest in a closed deal?
Expressing interest in closed deals helps us get a better sense for your preferences. It’s totally optional.
What happens if I express interest and I don’t end up submitting a bid?
We’ll follow up to know why, so we can improve our process in the future. Sellers want to see real interest from the buyers that they connect with on the platform, and receiving a bid after sharing project details is a minimum expectation here.
What if I have more questions about the deal?
Let us know! Reach out to your Conductor contact and we’ll share what we can.
What if I’m interested in part of the deal but not all of it?
It’s still worth expressing your interest. We understand that certain portfolios have projects that may not be a good fit. If a portfolio is really “buy all or nothing” we’ll note that in the details on the deal card.
Can I see more specifics on each project in the portfolio?
We’ll share what we can in the deal notes that open when you click on the card. But please let us know what else would help. We’ll continue to improve the information over time.
How do I know who the developer is?
We share the developer’s information with buyers who are matched to the deal. The listings are anonymous.
