In collaboration with the EPC contractor, Conductor helped the customer and building owner evaluate financing options for solar PV and a new roof, including PPA and PACE financing. The customer chose to move forward with a solar project loan alongside an ITC transfer. Conductor worked with the lender and underwriter to design a financing structure aligned with project requirements and advised the customer throughout the sale and transfer of their investment tax credit.
This project required extensive collaboration among the customer, EPC, lender, tax credit buyer, and Conductor. Drawing on specific expertise in tax credit transfers and an extensive background in energy project finance, Conductor helped all parties design a solution to unlock this deal. Specific parameters included the lender's DSCR and project cash flow requirements, and payment timing across loan disbursement and proceeds from the tax credit sale.
