This report provides a unique snapshot of solar energy’s middle market in the US with data and analysis from Conductor Solar’s marketplace for project acquisitions. Detailed project information from sellers and standardized bids from buyers provide a rich data set for new analysis and insight into an overlooked segment of the solar market.
Drawing on M&A activity in 2024, the report explores the sellers in the marketplace, their projects and portfolios, and bids from buyers. Sellers created 887 projects on the platform in 2024, totaling over 1 GWdc of proposed system capacity. Qualified projects were cross-referenced with over 75 potential buyers and received bids from 39 discrete buyers.
